UK Jobless Rate Ticks Down To
4.7%, Lowest Since 1975
LONDON (Alliance News) - The UK jobless rate fell to the
lowest level since 1975 at the start of the year, data from the
Office for National Statistics showed Wednesday.
The ILO unemployment rate came in at 4.7% in three months
to January versus 5.1% seen a year earlier.
At the same time, the employment rate was 74.6%, the joint
highest since comparable records began in 1971.
国家统计局在周三公布的数据显示，英国失业率已下降至1975年以来的最低点。
国际劳工组织的失业率在1月的3个月为4.7%，而去年同期为5.1%。
